Light Insert Kits
Light kits clamp on to your door. Exposed screws visible on one side of the light kit.
For 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" thick doors*
- Cut out area in your door should be 1" larger than listed size. Actual glass size is the order size.
- Visible glass size is 3/4" smaller than actual glass/order size.
- OSM of frame is 1-3/8" over actual glass/order/size.
- Unfinished Alder. Email for a quote on Red Oak, Poplar, Maple, Cherry, White Oak, PVC (1-3/4" only) or Mahogany (Sapele)

Glass is clear 1/8" tempered Safety Glass: Options (Click to Email) include:
- Tinted, Glue Chip, Acid Etched (Saten), and Obscured (pattern 62)
- 1/4" Tempered in Clear and Acid Etched (Saten)
- 1/2" Insulated Glass (two pieces of 1/8" tempered glass) in Clear and Acid Etched (Saten)
- 1" Insulated Glass (two pieces of 1/8" tempered glass) in clear and Acid Etched (Saten)
*Note: Many wood doors sold today are thinner than the size listed. Most manufacturers of doors state that the thickness is +/- 1/16". This can make the light insert appear to not fit tightly. Please note that this is a condition of the door and not our kits.
